The spot's right in the middle of everything—shops, banks, public transport. I’m grateful to the host for being so friendly and flexible; he let us check in before the official time and even met us at 7 a.m. to show us around. He took us on local tours and shared a bunch of tasty national dishes. The terrace gives a killer view of the mountains, and the evenings were filled with tea parties that brought everyone together. It’s not a hotel, it feels like a family.

Staying at Master’s House was unforgettable. The house itself is a treasure trove of local culture and art, and it’s got everything you need—a kitchen, fridge, washing machine, drying rack. The beds were super comfy and the neighborhood felt safe. The real highlight was the people: the owner, his friends, and family made me feel at home, even with the language mix‑ups. I met guests from all over the world and even got to hang out with the courtyard pets.

A week here turned into something that felt just like living at home. Master Dayan was constantly looking after me, feeding me and making sure I was comfortable, and I never wanted to leave. The rooftop was the highlight – watching Ararat from there made every day feel happy. If you get a chance, book one of Dayan’s short trips; his “magic” took me to a rare Gregory chant that I’ll never forget. I’ll definitely be back, it’s the only place I’d choose in Yerevan.
