The view of the pyramids was nice, but the staff were rude and unfriendly. From day one there were problems at reception; even after paying, they kept saying the payment hadn’t been received and insisted on cash or Visa, forcing me to pay again. Finally I got a room, but it had no hot water and the shower spray was almost nothing. They promised to fix it, yet it wasn’t until 1 a.m. I was moved to a new room. The next day they visited twice asking me to check out, even though I had booked three nights. I had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper three times that day. Breakfast was the same bland choice every day, exactly as listed. The reviews online no longer seem credible after staying there.

The place is beautiful and quiet, the room is clean, and the breakfast is lovely.
