Location, homely feel, hosts, comfy bed good sleep. Bathroom across landing

“A comfortable and friendly environment.”

The spot is super close to everything, and Robin, the hostess, took excellent care of us; it’s pet‑friendly and the breakfast was delicious. However, the room door didn’t lock from the outside—only a latch for inside use—and the breakfast started at 8:00 am, a bit late for our early schedule, though she did accommodate us.

“Home from home with excellent hosts”

We absolutely adored everything: staying in the Old Faithful room gave us our own entrance, a very cozy room with a nice sofa and private bathroom; breakfasts were excellent and close enough to walk into town. The hosts were warm and friendly, letting us come and go freely, enjoy tea and coffee in their garden or lounge, and their dogs were a delight. The stay was incredibly relaxing, just what we needed after two weeks of hectic touring.
