The grounds with animals and the view were nice, and the main road was close enough; dinner was fine and the place was quiet. However, the price‑quality ratio was poor, the accommodation and breakfast were basic, and the curtains were not clean.

Breakfast was the worst part of the stay—stale, frozen bread, mostly pork, and a buffet with fewer than ten items; it was absolutely terrible. The overall experience felt like a waste of money, and the room was disappointing, especially the bed size.

I loved the place – it was beautiful and neat, and everything else was great.

The secret ingredient was Lionel, Goodman and the rest of the staff – all so friendly, engaging, helpful, graceful… we kept comparing every place we stayed to Goble Palms, and everything was perfect; we’ll recommend it to anyone visiting Durban, and we’d even return just to have a beer with Lionel again! Thank you!!
