“Buena y original experiencia.”
Living in a castle was authentic; the castle is very well preserved and maintained. The feeling of sleeping in such a special place was very fun. Dinner at the restaurant was spectacular, and the staff there were also spectacular. Several aspects were missing to complete the experience at such a unique place: there is no area to relax and sit and enjoy the castle, no indoor lounge or outdoor seating to enjoy the views or the garden of such a spectacular site. There is also no place to have coffee or a drink during the day except for breakfast and dinner. We asked at reception if we could tour the castle and visit other rooms and spaces, but that was not possible; it was a shame we could only stay in the room and the breakfast and dinner halls. Arrival was quite difficult because the entrance—a small door accessed by a long staircase— and the parking are not indicated with visible signage that matches the grandeur of the castle. It looks almost abandoned and is barely marked with a faded, unattractive sign that makes you wonder if that’s a hotel or what. The restaurant lights should be dimmer to create more intimacy and to match the magical dining room and the atmosphere that makes for an amazing meal.
