The hotel is quiet, very clean, and the staff are attentive and helpful. There’s a museum right next to it.

“Eficiente”

The facilities are good, but we weren’t offered the kitchen service to use coffee and water, and the deposit that was agreed upon at the end wasn’t returned.

The staff were excellent and very friendly; they’re the best part of the hotel. The only downside was the noise at night from events, which made it uncomfortable to sleep because the room picked up a lot of sound.

“Wonderful historic hotel in the heart of the pueblo magico of Alamos”

We adored the charming old building in Alamos’s historic centre. We hadn’t heard of Maria Felix before arriving, so we googled her life and found it fascinating. The pool was lovely and we had it all to ourselves. Our bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. A very attractive breakfast restaurant was a five‑minute walk from the hotel. La Teserita and a lovely restaurant in the main square served the best meal we’ve had in Mexico. Plenty of street parking was available. Alamos and the hotel are wonderful! The only minor gripe was the absence of a hairdryer.
