The apartment is gorgeous and thoughtfully designed, with fine decorative touches and all the comforts needed for a truly enjoyable stay. Its location is especially convenient for car travelers, offering free parking within a pleasant 10‑minute walk. It served as an ideal base for exploring Matera on our own. Our host was exceptionally attentive, responsive, and always available whenever we had a question. The self‑check‑in was seamless, very well organized, and the instructions were exceptionally clear. This is a wonderful address in Matera that we would gladly recommend.
The apartments are huge! It’s an interesting experience, and I really liked all the decorative details.

The accommodation is spectacular, right in the heart of Sassi. Staying in a cave in Matera is a very authentic experience. The owner’s communication and thorough recommendations were incredibly helpful, especially regarding the car. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again. The only note: upon entering, there’s a slight damp smell, but once inside it disappears—understandable for a cave.
