The room needed more cleaning and there were no coffee mugs or spoons provided.

I didn’t linger for breakfast; the kettle was dirty, started to heat then stopped, so I used the microwave which didn’t work fully, the TV wouldn’t connect properly, but the room was warm and I slept well.

The spot is great, but the rooms feel like they're falling apart—cold, damp, and overall run down, though still clean enough. A sign warns that water takes time but it never arrives, and the bed is a patchwork of wooden blocks. Pillows are wafer-thin, yet the Wi‑Fi is decent. From the noises in the adjoining rooms, it seems like rooms are rented by the hour. I had to lie flat instead of using my truck, making it the worst place I've stayed in NZ. The internet, location, and the Flores pizzas next door are the only positives.
