Everything! The owners are fantastic and very approachable. The food is also great. Dinner and breakfast with a fantastic view in complete peace.

“Neispunjena očekivanja”

The location is lovely, the courtyard is well maintained, the horses are cared for and graze daily under the balcony. The large balcony has a lounge chair for rest. The surroundings are nice and walkable, and there’s a small playground with a swing and slide. The basic items were clean (bathroom, floor, bedding). However, the kettle was full of limescale and brown spots, some utensils were dirty with food crumbs, the mattress had fleas, hair, and crumbs. The wooden grill rails with a carved heart looked nice, but the room couldn’t be darkened, so we had to wake up very early. To dim the light, we pulled the curtains, but 10 dead insects fell onto the floor. Despite all that, we passed over it because we liked the location, but we feel the owners were not very fair regarding noise and maintenance. They said they work weekends from 10 to 22 and that parties are not held. The last night a group apparently had a party with music so loud the house shook. At 23:30 we texted the owner asking how long the music would continue; he replied it would finish soon and lower the volume. Neither did they lower it nor finish quickly, so the party went until 4 a.m., and we had to travel the next day with a small child. The place is advertised as a rural home focused on peace and rest, with owners who know they have a family with a small child, so that was definitely wrong. The restaurant didn’t impress us, although the girl who worked was very friendly. The chicken soup was fine and generous, the meat portions were smaller than other restaurants, and at the end of the grill we even found baked hair, but we didn’t mention it as it can happen. The owners were chatty and fine, except for that last night. We hope it was an isolated case and otherwise they respect guests’ peace. The TV barely picked up a signal, and the phone could only be used in certain parts of the house.

“Un gioiello nelle colline Croate”

The accommodation is a small gem, a two‑story villa with a balcony overlooking the valley, perfect for dinner or relaxing while watching the horses graze below. The owners were very kind, and in the morning we enjoyed a more than abundant breakfast with exclusively local products. After breakfast, a walk around the property is possible.

Everything from the host’s friendliness, the food and the accommodation was wonderful, making this one of the best places we’ve stayed at—clean, tidy and highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, a soul‑refreshing break, and a terrace view that delights. The restaurant’s cuisine was very fine, clearly prepared with care, and the plate presentation was pleasing; the homemade apple juice was excellent. They also offer interesting activities such as horse riding and tractor‑trailer rides, which we didn’t try because we have them at home, but they’re appealing for others; we also saw a trail they haven’t yet explored and plan to walk it on our next visit. Overall, a truly lovely experience.
