Just one night, but the host was delightful. The house and furnishings were beautiful, the breakfast outstanding, and overall value superb.
“I Luv coming to This Bed & Breakfast more than seeing the Penn State Football Game !”
We’ve been coming here for ten years because the location is perfect for a Penn State football game the next day, only 45 minutes away. The owner serves an outstanding breakfast with eggs to order, steel‑cut oats, turkey bacon, and whatever you want. The coffee is the best I’ve ever had, and the owner, Johti, is the sweetest, most accommodating host who helps with anything you need. The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t stay another night; the drive to the game and back was a bit of a hassle instead of staying the night with the comfy beds and great host. Also, if you have a disability (I had a knee replacement) and need a lower floor, make sure to ask—there are no elevators, but they can accommodate you when you book.
The location was great, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast was fabulous. The shower head was too high for the stall; at 5’5” it hit my face and couldn’t be adjusted.
“Our hostess shared her knowledge of the area which was greatly appreciated.”
Breakfast was excellent and beautifully plated, with a wide range of options.
“Pleasant with a very attentive hostess.”
The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The hotel sits in the historical part of town among lovely older homes. It’s within walking distance of the town center, which has numerous quaint stores and restaurants. There were no dislikes.
