The Shepherd's Hut is a gem in a superb spot with breathtaking views everywhere. It sits above the farm and a herd of mostly quiet animals. Because there’s only one hut, if you’re after peace and quiet this is the spot. Inside, the hut has everything you could wish for a getaway. It’s cozy and spacious enough for two. The outdoor seating and ready‑to‑use firepit make al fresco time a delight. The owners left a welcome basket with fresh eggs, milk, treats, marshmallows for roasting and popcorn kernels for the firepit. Kate and the hosts were warm and friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. It feels like a hidden paradise in the middle of the country. Thanks for making our anniversary unforgettable; we can’t wait to return next year ❤️

“Lovely shepherds hut in a peaceful location, a great welcome awaits!”

Lovely location, very peaceful and had all we needed for 3 nights. Kate was so helpful and welcoming and there was a lovely basket with eggs and cookies waiting for us, she even kindly gave us a lift when we needed it!
