“Friendly, made me feel very welcome and couldn’t be more helpful”

I was running late for a wedding and the girls at reception tried to book me a cab. When none were available they drove me there in their car so I wouldn’t be late. They also arranged a cab for me at the end of the night, and when I returned as they were leaving they stopped to see if I’d had a nice time. I was on my own, felt very safe, and they made me feel welcome. It made such a difference to me. Thank you ladies, the little things make such a difference. ❤️

“Great place for a break in Woodbridge”

The host was amazing, the room was lovely, and breakfast was fab. They had a bar that served you on request (we used it on our second night), and the dinners on offer (again used on our second night) were great. The staff were very happy to help. The Wi‑Fi in our room didn’t have a strong enough signal (our room was at one end of the hotel) but it worked elsewhere in the hotel. Apparently there were other Wi‑Fi connections we could have used. We spoke to the manager, who was very happy we flagged this and said he would provide in‑room instructions for future guests.

“Travelled for a wedding. Decent room and breakfast. Nothing fancy but did the job.”

Breakfast was good value. Hosts George and Jordan were fantastic. They had only recently taken over, so it will be interesting to see what it’s like a year or two down the line. The room was basic and a little outdated, and the bathroom was separate from the actual room.

“For a short break in Woodbridge the Hotel is well placed although on the main A12.”

The breakfast was good, especially the cooked options, though the cereal selection was lacking and the fruit was poor; the room matched expectations and the bed was comfortable.

The team was very friendly and relaxed, but the hotel sits on a main road a bit out of town.
