The listing promised a private room with an open‑air bath and sea view, but all we could see were other buildings and a rival inn; the supplied dryer was broken, the large communal bath was cramped, and the chatter from other guests was noisy and poorly behaved.

The staff were really friendly, and I enjoyed the bar, the private open‑air bath in the room, and the marshmallows, but the sea view wasn’t as extensive as I had expected.
