The experience was amazing.

“Overpriced, unhygienic, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointing stay.”

The stay was a total letdown and far from worth the £110+ per night. There was no hot water, the room and towels had a foul smell from poor hygiene and drainage, and there was a literal insect infestation. The rooms were too bright early in the morning and the elevator noise kept us awake all night. Charging extra to iron clothes instead of providing an iron is unreasonable, and breakfast was very basic. Overall, the hotel is overpriced, poorly maintained, and offers very poor value for money; I would not recommend it until these issues are fixed.

The staff at Gumaan Resort were very responsive and attentive. The food was delicious, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The only problem was insects in the room, but the staff responded promptly and assisted whenever needed.

I loved the hotel’s design and the family room; it was spacious and cozy for our family. The staff were friendly, helpful, and cooperative, and breakfast was tasty with beautiful views from both the rooms and the restaurant. On the downside, the elevator system was frustrating: there’s no elevator to the first floor, so stairs are required, and each floor has its own elevator, forcing multiple changes if your room is on the 3rd or 4th floor; the elevators move very slowly, making trips to and from the room inconvenient, and the Wi‑Fi sometimes fails.

The staff were the best and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. There was nothing we disliked about the property.
