The hotel was spacious enough to be considered a village hotel, but the mattress was a drawback.

Breakfast was very limited, offering only “toast” with tomato spread and Iberico ham on sourdough bread. The room was adequate but quite small.

The place was well‑situated, the room was spacious with a view of the castle, check‑in was quick, and the price‑to‑quality ratio was solid. However, the best part of the room was also its worst: being west‑facing with the beautiful castle directly ahead, the sun bathed the room all afternoon, and the window lacked blinds, only curtains that stayed warm into the next morning despite good heating in winter. If you can sleep with the air‑conditioning on all night it’s fine, but otherwise it’s not.
