“A decent stay for the price”

The location can’t be beat – right in the heart of everything you want to see. Unfortunately, we got locked out of our room after using the shower soap, and there was no front desk staff to help, plus the room had a lingering musty odor. It was a mixed bag, with the convenience offset by some frustrating service gaps.

The room was basic but clean, and the host prepared a modest breakfast of coffee, toast, butter, and jam that was surprisingly tasty. The hostel is just a few blocks from the city centre, which made getting around a breeze. Overall, a no‑frills spot that works well for short trips.

The host was welcoming and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. The downside is that the building and décor feel pretty dated, which took away from the overall vibe. Good people, but the place could use a refresh.

Breakfast was simple yet delicious – coffee, toasted bread with butter and jam – and there’s convenient parking right out front. The courtyard has a cozy, family‑run feel and the spot is close to both the city centre and the main dining area. On the downside, the bathroom only had hand soap, no shampoo, and the fixtures are showing their age.
