Sunny Baška Residence by Valamar

The food was excellent and consistently varied. The beach was sometimes very crowded, yet clean, and the water was acceptable. Being right on the promenade was a decisive factor for choosing this place. We were fully satisfied and the value for money was adequate for the season.

Everything was wonderful: clean rooms, great food, and plenty of it—perfect! The Asian team was much friendlier and more helpful than the waiters, who just stood around doing nothing.

The staff were very friendly right by the sea. The pool needs some repairs. The buffet food was mostly cold, which was a real disappointment. The waiters were not very attentive when it came to drinks and no one asked. The beach was clean, but that’s not the hotel’s responsibility.

“Ha még visszatérünk Baska-ra, biztosan ide szeretnénknvisszajönni, kedves személyzet, kiváló ételek és nagyon jó elhelye”

We got a sea‑view room next to the pedestrian street, everything nearby, and even found a shaded parking spot for the car. Overall, the location, the quality of the fine dishes, and the generous selection are extraordinary.

The hotel sits right on the main beach. It feels modern and seems recently refurbished. The staff are polite, and breakfast and dinner are good and plentiful. There was an unpleasant odor in the room that I couldn’t locate (it wasn’t coming from the bathroom). In the evening you can hear loud music from the beach bars. It isn’t the hotel’s fault, and I’m not especially sensitive to noise, but just so you know.
