The location was beautiful, on top of the mountain in the middle of nature.

Arriving at Poiana Mariului, we took a side road that climbs into the countryside above the village; the view is breathtaking. Helena’s pension feels like an oasis amid the hills around Brazov, run by a friendly family headed by Helena herself. If you want to spend interesting evenings chatting and sipping homemade blackberry liqueur under a brilliant starry sky, just ask Helena and you’ll get her kindness. The apartments are lovely and clean, the garden suits children and families, and for anything you can turn to Helena and count on her friendliness.
