We ran into problems with the main entrance door – the lock was broken and overall the house was poorly maintained.

“Appartement très agréable et confortable.”

The lodging is close to the city centre with many small shops around. The rooms are spacious, and the little patio is very pleasant. The ad should list the correct address: Estrada da senhora da Saude 15, not 15‑15, otherwise taxis get lost. More glasses in the kitchen would help, and having hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms would be handy for hanging clothes.

“Definately worths the price and provides a comfortable stay.”

I liked the location and the size of the property. It was clean enough, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and spotless, and having AC in the rooms was a big plus. The shower area could have been cleaner; I think there was an issue with the water flow, but since I showered in my slippers it was fine. Not a big deal.

We liked the location and the fact that the rooms had air conditioning, though it would have been nicer if the living room did too. The welcome was friendly and handling our luggage at arrival was easy. However, we found a less pleasant issue: cockroaches in the bathroom area and near the front door. This needs to be addressed.

“Fijn huis, communicatie en service kan beter”

The house has a nice layout with four bedrooms and is well situated close to the city and the marina. Unfortunately, several aspects made our stay less enjoyable. We received only one bath towel per person for several nights, which is unhygienic. Although we were told extra towels would be delivered, no one ever came to hand them over during our entire stay. Additionally, there were cockroaches in the house and the power went out regularly. Whenever we used two stoves at once, the electricity cut out, making cooking very difficult. Communication could improve. We did get replies to messages, but the answers were often very brief and not always helpful. For example, when we asked where to dispose of our trash, we were told: "outside in a container." We had to find the container ourselves, which was not even on the same street. I had also sent a message in February about our June reservation, but never received a response. With better communication, better maintenance, and more attention to basic amenities, this could be a much more pleasant stay.
