The room was spotless and cozy, and the on‑suite was lovely. The continental breakfast in the communal kitchen/dining area was nice, and the hotel is dog friendly. It’s a bit out of the way, but the ice change made it a suitable stopover compared to the usual motel.

The owner was kind. The quiet and natural surroundings were appreciated.

The setting was superbly pastoral and bucolic, with a very friendly welcome. On‑site dining focused mainly on garden produce, and the peach selection was excellent. There were chickens, ducks, goats, and a pond with fish—an almost paradise for kids and animal lovers.
