Clearwater Beach Sheraton Resort on Sand Key

The location and the resort are excellent. The breakfast buffet was very repetitive—same every day. It’s a pity you couldn’t change the hot food now and then because after two weeks it wasn’t something we looked forward to. Also, paying 30 dollars a day for parking is disappointing. Paying thousands of dollars for two weeks and then getting stung with parking fees will definitely make me think twice about staying in the future.

“Our favourite resort but sadly disappointed”

Everyone was very nice and the location was good, but the daily parking fee of 30 dollars feels like a crime—why would a resident have to pay for parking? That, along with having to pay extra for breakfast when it should have been included in the booking, put us off returning to our favorite resort.

“Too much money for the room”

The place is in a decent spot, yet the room had a musty smell, the air conditioner malfunctioned, and it was noisy and humid. Even though I requested a room far from the elevator, we were assigned one right next to it, and the elevator noise was not good.

“Fabuloso!”

The pool area was great, and the shuttle that took us to the beach—though a bit far—was handy; the hotel has been around for years yet is still well maintained. However, the umbrellas were pricey and offered poor shade because they were too low; we felt cramped under them and couldn’t lift them, so we only rented one day.

I didn’t get the room I had booked; I was given a room on the 4th floor that arrived dirty, with a stained mirror. I asked for a change and was moved to the 5th floor.
