“Very shabby and run down hotel, not very clean. I can't believe we paid almost $100 per night.”
The location was the only bright spot, right in the center and downtown, with great restaurants right next to it. There was a working fridge and microwave. The hotel itself looked shabby and poorly maintained; the hot tub was broken, and cracks in the bathtub’s bottom were just caulked over. No one ever staffed the desk, the blankets and towels felt super thin and cheap, and the air‑conditioning/heater unit was dusty and triggered my allergies. The walls were thin, and some drunk men next door were partying loudly until late at night. I called the front desk but nothing changed. The price was almost $100 per night, which felt overpriced.
