The location was in the city centre, a basic budget hotel but the room was okay, while the bathroom was rather old-fashioned.

“Voordelige overnachting met badkamer op de gang”

The host was very welcoming; after a brief orientation she disappeared back to the restaurant kitchen. The restaurant was Greek‑style and served delicious dishes, but because it is tied to a restaurant that only opens at 17:00, earlier check‑in was probably not possible. I didn’t try it, but 17:00 is very late.

The place is very nice and newly equipped, the owner is very friendly and it’s incredibly quiet. In the village there’s a shop, a café and two restaurants, and there’s a kitchenette so you can cook for yourself. The bed is large and comfortable. I probably missed it in the description and was a little surprised: the shower is in the room and the toilet and sink are shared with the other two rooms. As I said, you just need to know that, and overall the positives far outweighed the negatives.
