Thanks a lot, Imaret Hotel; our second stay in 2026 was great, but I was really upset about one thing: at the hotel’s Şah Saray restaurant we ate when we first arrived and they didn’t charge us 2 manats for the börek, but on our second visit they said we would have to pay 2 manats for it, which shocked me; I was surprised because no other restaurant asks for money for börek, so you need to find a solution. I didn’t like that you charge 2 manats for börek in your restaurant; it’s wrong and gives a bad image to the place.

The location is excellent. The hotel is new and the room is clean. The pillows are uncomfortable. The area within 200 m is very dirty and unkempt, but that’s more a city issue than the hotel.

I was told to pick one of three hotels while in Ganja and Imaret turned out to be a lot cheaper than the others; I heard that’s because it’s only been open a few months, and it was true – everything is brand‑new and modern, from the TV to the AC, heated floors, and mini‑fridge. The lobby connects to a Burbon coffee shop, which is convenient, and the main avenue Nizami Ganjavi is a one‑minute walk away, but it’s quiet enough that you can’t hear any noise. The staff, including the manager, were all super friendly and eager to help, especially Yusif and Ilqar. When the Wi‑Fi went down during a storm, the manager gave me a hotspot so I could keep working, which was a nice touch for business travelers. The “fitness center” wasn’t just a closet with a few dumbbells; I could use the full gym and sauna at ALFA fitness, a brand‑new gym in the basement. Another perk was that the parking lot is shared with Shah Sarayi, a local favorite, so you never have to walk far for good food. All in all it was a perfect stay and the kind of hotel and staff I’d love to find everywhere I travel.
