The place was a mess, everywhere there was mold. We drove dozens of kilometers to the apartment with a pool, but the pool had been out of service for years. There were no restaurants nearby to eat at. For 90 € in Romania you can find a nice apartment, not something like this.

“OK”

We stayed in a very warm spot and parking was a breeze. The property sits on the edge of the village and looked stunning, especially at sunrise. Two families, three rooms and four kids, so we were noisy. The outdoor kids’ playset – swings and a wooden house – was great, and there were two pools that would be perfect in summer, but we visited in winter. A socket was sticking out and the bathroom felt cold. The facilities looked a bit run down, but given the price maybe we should have expected less. We booked two triple and one double room, yet we received two double and one triple rooms; it seemed like a misunderstanding. The description made me think the downstairs kitchen and living room were communal, but they were locked during our stay.
