We selected the accommodation because of the lack of capacity directly in Náchod. It was chosen based on ratings and price/performance. The first impression was good, but then we were almost discouraged by minor problems in the rooms. The operator resolved everything shortly after arrival to our full satisfaction, and the rest of the stay passed in complete comfort. The dinners were exquisite and the buffet breakfasts were energising. Overall, it’s clear that the staff take good care of the pension and are gradually improving it. We had to overlook photographs showing the originally socialist recreational building in the process of being transformed into a modern facility when ordering. Perhaps we would have reconsidered, but we would have missed an extraordinary and ultimately very positive experience. The lack of adequate pre‑arrival accommodation checks on our part initially surprised us unpleasantly, but after resolving several minor issues everything was fine.

We chose the pension because of its location. One night was sufficient, but the surroundings felt neglected. The room was clean, the bathroom had a hair dryer, and the bed was soft (for me, it was too soft). The breakfast was fine. We had a self‑service bar on the terrace in front of the pension and it was lively under the windows of the room until late at night.
