The spot’s location is solid – a short walk to Shopping Vila Olímpia. But the building feels like a relic; rooms and fixtures are old, and privacy is low because the hosts live on the premises. The kitchen is usually taken up by the host’s wife, one bathroom even lacks a toilet, and the air‑con in my room was dead, only a small fan rattling at night. The price wasn’t much cheaper than other places I’ve stayed nearby, so overall I wouldn’t recommend it.

Everything was great – the neighborhood is nice, a bakery close to the market. The only downside was laundry restrictions; I could only wash clothes at night, and that was the only time I could.

The reception and staff were friendly, I recommend it. The only issue was the noise – a nearby bar stays open late and the clatter reaches the room.
