We enjoyed a wonderful stay in São Martinho de Mouros; the old house features a lovely garden that is well kept, and the host was very friendly and welcoming, even letting us taste the delicious fresh figs from the garden. It’s an excellent spot for escaping the city, hiking around the hills, and taking a few relaxing holidays. Thanks, Sergio! The only downside is that the village sits on a hill, so a car is necessary to get there, and there are no restaurants within walking distance that stay open in the evenings.

I was very well received; the room offered an incredible view and was very quiet and calm. The mattress, however, was quite uncomfortable for my personal taste.
