The service was very good, but breakfast was expensive compared to what we received.

The hotel offered standard comfort and was probably cutting‑edge at one point, but it now feels a bit dated. The breakfast was not very filling; there were green spots on the ham and three pieces of chicken that were a little tough, and even the orange juice seemed like it was made from oranges that had been left out for a week.

The Vieux Mercure clearly needs a facelift, and there was no card available to order breakfast.

The cleanliness and reception were excellent. The hotel is charming with serious front‑desk staff and a level of cleanliness worthy of a 5‑star rating! ⭐️ I highly recommend.
