The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist. They had a vacancy, so I was upgraded upon arrival, and the view from the window was amazing. On the downside, the rooms only had coffee and milk.

The facilities are well maintained and the hotel sits very close to the center; just cross the Río Miño and climb the stairs to the town, the first hotel on the left. The downside is the noise from the floor attendants starting at 8 am, which keeps the pilgrims from resting, and the rudeness of people speaking loudly at 8 am.

Entering the town, the room was modern and the bathroom spectacular – 100 % recommended for a stopover hotel to rest before continuing the trail.

Rooms facing the reception generate a lot of noise from people chatting and the movement of luggage.
