The house was pretty, the room comfortable, surrounded by nice restaurants, a supermarket within walking distance, and close to the Company Gardens.

“Gorgeous building, great location and friendly host”

The host was incredibly helpful with plenty of tips, served warm banana bread with butter every morning, and the room had a lovely balcony; it was near many restaurants, cafés, and Table Mountain.

“Home away from home”

The colonial‑style house had a beautiful, spacious room, a comfortable bed with an electric blanket for colder nights, and a sunny sunrise from the lovely balcony; I also liked the host, always available, very caring, and ready to answer questions and give advice. Breakfast wasn’t included, but she always made delicious banana bread to start the day, and coffee and tea were always on hand. The location was fantastic for dining out and grabbing a drink, with great restaurants just a 2–3 minute walk away in a very safe area. Everything was fine, though the soundproofing was weak because the house is old; fortunately, guests and the staff member Ann, who is very kind and friendly, were careful not to make noise, but I recommend earplugs for light sleepers. I slept wonderfully every night.
