The welcome was bad, communication about check‑in time was mysterious, and there was no hot water in the bath when we arrived.

Bonjour, I booked a room at your hotel yesterday. Unfortunately, when I arrived I found the room extremely dirty and a strong bad odor; the room does not meet the hygiene and cleanliness standards one rightfully expects from a hotel. This situation severely ruined my stay. I therefore ask you to propose a quick solution, especially a refund of my reservation given the state of the room. The room was spacious, but the toilet in the room only had a divider and no door; it was unclear that the private bathroom was outside the room and not attached. The bathroom ventilation was poor.
