A charming hotel in a historic manor. The staff listened to our needs and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The lake view was stunning, and the pool was quite large with a hammam and sauna. Just step out of the hotel and cross the road to reach the lake’s edge. Our room’s view was spectacular, directly overlooking the lake with a superb panorama.

There was mold in the shower and no in‑house restaurant kitchen.

“Schön gewohnt mit Beanstandungen.”

We liked the location with a direct lake view, but the road along the shore was very noisy day and night. The large park, the main house, and the dependency we stayed in were all well maintained. The walk between the main house and the dependency, about 150 m, was tough for us seniors. It included a staircase of about 10 steps with a handrail and some uneven steps that varied in height and width without safety railings. The parking lot leading to the dependency was steep uphill. The shower had no grab bars, which is dangerous for seniors.
