Located off Interstate 90 in Ellensburg, the Best Western Plus Ellensburg Hotel features an indoor pool, hot tub, and deluxe daily hot breakfast with made-to-order waffles, sausage, and eggs. Central Washington University is 2 miles away. Each contemporary room offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV, microwave, fridge, and kitchenettes in select suites. A 24-hour reception serves free cookies and milk, and a fitness centre, business centre, and guest launderette are available.

The location was good for Ellensburg and the staff were friendly, yet the rates were extremely high during the CWU football game, almost doubling when the event was happening.

The hotel was convenient and clean, but the breakfast was pretty bad.

The spot was close enough to the event I was attending, and I appreciated that the breakfast room stayed open all day for water and hot water. However, the room quality didn’t match the $400‑$500/night price tag for the first two nights; I can’t figure out why it was listed that high. The third night at $189 felt more reasonable. The breakfast room was disappointing for a 4‑500 per night cost. After the first night, I discovered a silverfish in my luggage, which had been left on the luggage bench in the room.

The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, the fitness centre, pool, and rooms were very clean, and the free breakfast was decent. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable.
