“Klimat, ścisłe centrum i miła obsługa. Wygodny i nowoczesny odpoczynek we włoskiej kamienicy.”
The apartment was very comfortable and self‑contained, with air‑conditioning, a small kitchen equipped with appliances and basic ingredients (salt, olive oil, teas, coffee, etc.), a wide bed, a large TV, and retro‑style furniture; there was a small balcony with a lovely view of the rooftops of central Catania, and a clothesline on the balcony (though it would be better to replace it because it’s worn from rolling on it). The location was excellent, in the heart of the city—walking to the main sights and a nice dinner spot, and also walking to the train station. We took a bus to the beach. The metro station and bus stop (including a direct bus to the airport) were very close, and right next to the apartment was a Lidl, ticket kiosks, and everything needed for everyday life. The staff were very friendly and communicative. I would add a towel rack in the bathroom for hanging wet towels and an extra shelf for cosmetics. The apartment is on the fourth floor, so the high stairs mean street noise is muted at night (the street can be very loud with restaurants, music, horns, etc.), but it does require a bit of climbing. The toilet flushing is very loud, probably because the building was converted from old apartments into two small units, which might explain the effect. Overall, these flaws were not bothersome.
