“Facilities are below our expectations, need a major upgrade, though the staff were helpful”

The staff were helpful even though they didn’t speak English; Raj understood a bit of basic English but couldn’t respond verbally, and we appreciated being able to leave our bags after checkout. Raj arranged an auto for us and set a fair price to take us to the railway station. However, we were locked in with the front shutters closed from 10 pm until the staff woke up in the morning, which felt like a fire trap and forced us to wake them at 6:30 am to get out. There were 7 to 8 little cockroaches under the electric kettle we were given on request, and toiletries were also supplied on request even though they were part of the contract. It seemed there was a disconnect between the staff’s awareness and the rental contract set by management. The bedsheets had holes and blood stains, and we found dead bugs on the bathroom floor.
