Everything was perfect: the reception was so warm, the view was breathtaking, the accommodation was very functional and super clean. It’s ideal for a real break to recharge in peace amid nature (pines, eucalyptus that give an amazing scent). I highly recommend it. Everything was perfect.

“O Douro é lindo.”

The scenery and the pool were great, everything was very tasteful and well decorated. The room, however, was very damp, with no windows and no way to ventilate. The fan made a huge noise and didn’t do any ventilation; the whole room was humid. Since it’s new, the room’s structure is still a bit noticeable, but the air was a little unbreathable for people with respiratory issues. Those with asthma or rhinitis are not advised to go. We have rhinitis and slept poorly. It has everything needed for meals except the essentials like a stove or microwave, but the room’s condition still makes it hard. The photos are misleading, because the top part (where it looks like a house) isn’t for guests’ use—only the balcony and chairs are. For people with limited mobility, it’s not worth it… the house is on a slope and the rooms are in the basement, the table and chairs are on the ground floor, and the pool is at the top of the property.
