The Du Talay Hotel Koh Chang, a family-run boutique hotel, features 21 Thai-German managed rooms, renovated in 2018. Each room is equipped with a safe, wardrobe, desk, fridge, and comfortable double or twin beds. Amenities include a bathtub or rainforest shower, hair dryer, and complimentary drinking water. The hotel offers a large lobby, cafe, restaurant, and beachside steakhouse, as well as a sundeck and beach access with sunbeds and umbrellas.

The place was very nice, the staff were caring and the rooms were great with good service, but the only downside was breakfast – it wasn’t the buffet we expected, just a set‑menu choice, which was honestly disappointing, and it only ran from 08:00 to 10:00; I’d suggest cancelling it so guests don’t feel let down.

Unfortunately nothing good. The air‑conditioning was broken, there were blood stains on the wall, and several large spots appeared on the wall. The replacement room smelled like a sewage treatment plant, and the view was just trash, dirt, and a concrete wall. I had to check out after 2 hours and move to another hotel. The staff were very snippy and lazy, offered no transportation, so I booked another room myself and arranged a driver. I would not recommend this place.
