Il Ducato

The space inside the house and outside—garden lounge, large table near the barbecue, very large garden, pool. The owners were responsive and helpful. A beautiful, typical Tuscan house. Located close to the lovely village of Cortona.

“Voor herhaling vatbaar!”

I stayed in a large, spacious room with good air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen; the different shower options were nice, and I had a private pool to myself.

The rustic house was great, the pool was really OK, there was plenty of space, the beds were decent, and the owners Paul and his wife were friendly and helpful – I’d definitely recommend this for a group trip in Tuscany and hope to visit Il Ducato again 😁🥰. The only downside is that you need a car; although Cortona is relatively close, most of the rest of Tuscany’s attractions require a drive.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and the hospitality from Paulo & Maila was outstanding; the location was great, but the sofa was uncomfortable.

The place is in a top location near Cortona, the air conditioning and dishwasher are excellent, the huge garden with a pool is a paradise for kids, and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating.
