The staff were kind, the place was clean, and it was close to where I needed to go. However, hot water didn’t start until a certain time, the fan wasn’t working, and the TV was bad.

The building feels a bit old, but it has everything needed. We stayed one night to break up a long road trip, and the value for money was great.

Location Nice old stylish decor. They would improve their rating score and possibly even add an extra 1/2 star by replacing the spring mattresses that can easily be felt as it sit let alone lay with basic level new matresses I am sure the property is never running 100% most of the year so replace 1/4 of the mattresses spread over different room types and then fill those rooms first. Then proceed sort remaining room mattress replacements over subsequent years if cash flow is an issues Then keen your rates as they are across room types and build those reviews due to guests now seeing you as great value for money. once your rating score are back into the 8 and 9’s you can then start to increase your nightly rate overtime as the higher ratings score justifies it

“Albergo d'altri tempi”

The vibe feels like a vintage hotel in a perfect spot, and the owners are very polite and friendly, giving it that old‑time charm that’s great for lovers of literary and film references. They have a bar and tables, but they don’t use them for breakfast or to buy a bottle of water—maybe it’s closed on Sundays—and the shower water is lukewarm, cold, and the jet is weak.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the train station and easy to find. A huge plus is the early check‑in. A couple of restaurants are nearby. The hosts are very friendly, answer questions patiently, and it’s clear they care about guests. The new mattresses and pillows made sleeping very comfortable. A bus runs from the station to the old town center; it’s better to buy the ticket at the kiosk because the bus only accepts credit cards. The setting needs updating, and the bathroom needs a curtain.
