“hotel moderno com algumas ressalvas sérias”
The hotel is well situated right on the waterfront, with vending machines in the lobby for drinks. Breakfast offers a good variety of food and drinks. The bed is huge and very comfortable. There’s an underground garage, and if it’s full, there’s an open lot on the side street. When I arrived at my room, the door wouldn’t open. The technician showed me that I had to push the knob down while lifting the door at the same time; I kept trying several times during my stay to get it open. It’s disappointing that this kind of defect wasn’t fixed right away, especially since the technician seemed to know the issue. The soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower was full, but nothing came out when I pressed it. The TV screen is small, so watching sports from the bed made it impossible to see scores or player names. Breakfast had only one staff member refilling food and drinks, and apparently no one was picking up the plates. When I arrived at 9:20 am there was no free table that wasn’t covered in dirty plates, so I decided to return to the room hoping it would be better a bit later. By 9:50 am it had worsened; almost all tables were vacant but none were clean. I had to wait for a staff member to free a table for me. For a hotel of this size, this is unacceptable and disappointing, especially since it happened on a holiday Sunday with high occupancy.
