The breakfast was lovingly prepared and the staff were very friendly, but the accommodation sits on a heavily trafficked street, so traffic noise can be heard when the windows are open.

I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but the rooms were clean and cozily furnished; even though my room faced the street it stayed quiet. Sharing a bathroom with several guests naturally makes cleanliness a challenge. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful! On the second morning I had to wait quite a while before I could use the bathroom because someone was taking their time, but that’s not really the hotel’s fault.
