Heritage Amina Group Of Houseboats

“Overall, I won't recommend anyone this stay.”

Breakfast was okay, the location was fine, the washroom was below par, and the internet went down for a long time during a power outage, which was embarrassing for someone who needs to stay in touch with work. The room rate for the off‑season was a bit too high for the value.

“Nice houseboat in good location”

The communal areas were lovely and getting to the shore was easy—close to good facilities and restaurants on Boulevard Road—yet the bathroom in our room was poor, with loose sanitary ware and a leaking cistern.

“Very uncomfortable and old place”

The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially considering how rundown the property looked. The mattresses were just 5 cm of foam, so I couldn’t sleep the first night because my bones were pressing against the wood. The bathroom had no curtains, no carpet, so every shower splashed everywhere. Towels weren’t exactly clean, there were no tea or coffee in the room, and the breakfast area was a cramped tea table with old cushions while vendors kept coming by selling things. I had to hide in my room to avoid being asked for money, and the houseboat’s “romantic” feel turned into isolation—every move required a boat trip, no freedom to wander or decide where to go. Vendors, boat riders, and staff kept asking for cash, which felt relentless. One night might be tolerable, but I was hoping for a quiet place to relax and ended up with an outdated hostel.

“تم دخول الفندق ولم اجده على التقييم العالي في التطبيق وقد تم دفع المبلغ كاش للفندق ومعادرته على الفور.”

The place is extremely old and dirty, far from what the photos show.

The staff were very supportive and did their best to meet our requests, and the dinner was tasty. However, the boats were unhygienic, the sheets were stained, the quilts were reused without covers, bathrooms were poorly equipped, and the toilets leaked from the pipes.
