I stayed in a tidy room with a clean bathroom and a spacious bedroom; the bed was comfortable, and the owner was friendly and offered useful local tips. The breakfast café was a short 5‑minute walk away, and I had no complaints.

“Amazing Property & Room”

It was a beautiful home situated in a fabulous village. The room & bathroom were excellent. I had the best nights sleep here. The owner was so friendly and ensured everything was just right. The garden area was amazing and a perfect place to chill after our long motorbike journey. I even had a sleep on the grass. I highly recommend Wedale House. For me there was nothing to dislike at all

“Spacious and quiet”

The bathroom was very roomy, featuring a walk‑in shower and a bath, which pleasantly surprised us; the décor was beautiful, and the room had a TV plus coffee/tea facilities. We felt quiet and safe even though we shared the house with others, and the view was nice. We would have liked a fridge for long road‑trippers, and we cautioned that parking in the courtyard can be tricky, but overall everything was lovely.

“Beautiful historic home. Great room and new bathroom.”

The historic home was beautiful, and the maintenance staff promptly fixed a heater issue when I reached out—when we arrived the heater was off.
