“As advertised but a little better in person. Satisfied.”

The venue was nearby and a quick Lyft ride got us there in no time; walking to 89th for food was hassle‑free, and fresh produce was within a reasonable walk. The staff were friendly, and we managed to get early check‑in for a good reason. For a yearly city trip with parking available, this was a budget‑friendly option with no problems. I might have brought a fan or white‑noise machine for deeper sleep—just a minor tweak, as I’m a light sleeper and live on a private road, so I could have prepared better knowing I’d be in NYC.

“Worst experience I’ve ever had”

The location was awful and nearly impossible to find. The front door smelled of marijuana and cigarettes, and inside the room there were cigarette burn holes in the furniture and sheets; the floors and furniture were sticky. The door only had a deadbolt that could be opened with a key, and the room looked nothing like the promised photos. People were yelling and screaming all night, and at one point someone tried to enter our room. They kept knocking and used a translator to talk to us. Later that night, a man was knocking on doors and yelling in the hallways, making us feel very unsafe.

“Would book again”

The bed and spa tub were excellent.

None of the rooms had AC or heat, so we had to call the front desk for central AC/heat. Additionally, there were no blow dryers in the bathrooms, so we couldn’t wash our hair.
