The Ocean Key Virginia Beach Resort

The location is great, rooms are well maintained and clean, and the AC runs very quietly; they provide free laundry and dryer machines on the 6th floor for guests. Parking is free and plentiful, and the beach is just a street away. It’s a very nice spot for families with kids—quiet and family‑friendly. The staff handled my Amazon deliveries and kept them until I returned to the hotel. They’re professional and friendly. However, the kitchen lacks an exhaust fan to remove smoke, so I’d advise against heavy cooking during the stay and to use the bathroom exhaust fan to reduce odors while keeping the AC on.

“Had a nice memory in this hotel in the past stay this time stay not the same”

The room itself is clean with comfortable beds, but the hallway smells like rotten fish, the coffee machine is always out of service, and the jacuzzi is also out of service.

“It was exciting!”

There’s a pool inside, but it’s adult‑only, so when my daughter woke up bright and early and wanted to swim late at night she couldn’t because it was restricted to adults.
