“Excellent hotel in a beautiful location.”
Umi was stunning, set in a beautiful location. The walk to the beach was wonderful and bracing! It was one of the two more expensive hotels we stayed in on the trip, the other was Magma (a linked hotel). Umi was by far the better hotel— from the stunning food (dinner and breakfast were excellent), the warm environment and friendly team. We stayed in Umi then Magma— wish we had just had two nights in Umi. Horses walking alongside the windows at breakfast was a treat, as was the sighting of the northern lights. Really lovely place, will recommend to others. There was some building work going on for an extension. Didn’t inconvenience us at all, was well covered to avoid impacting on guests. Exciting times coming for Umi. Nothing— all was great.
