Hotel Travessera

I was thrilled with the hotel; it was pricey but totally worth it. The walk to Sagrada Familia and Guell Park was easy, and the place felt spotless and safe. The staff were fantastic—kind and polite—and I highly recommend it.

“Sehr gute Lage für eine Erkundung der Stadt, sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal..”

The location was great for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The weather was a bit rough, with heavy rain in parts, but that’s beyond anyone’s control; the Hop-on Hop-off tour did need an umbrella. Overall, the value was moderate, especially on the pricier Rambla, but Barcelona is generally expensive. We ate well and affordably at the side‑street restaurant Prado de Flores.

“Un seul inconvénient.”

My room was very clean and decorated simply. The bathroom was functional, with a large shower tray. Breakfast was well stocked, offering both savory and sweet items, including several homemade pastries. The hotel faces a busy boulevard that gets completely congested at certain times, with drivers honking loudly; it was impossible to sleep in those conditions, so I wore earplugs for the whole stay, which solved the issue.

“Barcelona hotel”

The room was comfy and the area was residential. Antonio was terrific every morning with the breakfast buffet, personable and helpful. The front desk staff knew the local shops and restaurants well, and they arranged a taxi to the airport smoothly. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Barcelona. The elevator was slow, taking a long time to reach just two floors.
