Hotel Espana - Gruppo BLAM HOTELS

The accommodation is located in a quiet, clean area from which the city center and landmarks are easily reachable. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful in every way; I especially appreciated the gift of a bottle of sparkling wine in the room with a congratulatory note, as we arrived as newlyweds. The room and hotel are clean, with pleasant scents and tasteful décor. The bed is comfortable but not overly large. Everything needed is available in the room. Breakfast consists of sweets, and coffee or tea is unlimited. It’s the best stay we’ve had in Italy so far. Thank you for everything.

The room was fairly new and had a modern design, yet the advertised 24‑hour service was actually only available at the adjacent team hotel, which didn’t meet my expectations as a solo female traveler. The garden was tiny, the breakfast room/lobby was in the basement and uninviting, and overall the price‑to‑value ratio was not fair.

“A éviter”

The location was not too far from Termini station, but the access was difficult, there was no on‑site staff, the place was old, noisy, and had no soundproofing. Breakfast was horrible.

“No recomendamos este Hotel para su visita a Roma”

We didn’t like anything about the hotel except its location and the staff’s courtesy upon arrival. The narrow staircase required us to carry our luggage up; we were given a room on the second floor and could only bring our bags up with staff help. We know rooms in Rome hotels are usually small, but this one was the smallest we’ve ever seen, far from what a 3‑star hotel should offer. Breakfast was a disaster: the coffee machine didn’t work and the usual breakfast items had already been eaten and never restocked. We ended up eating at a small bar just outside the hotel.
