“3 rodziny, w sumie 13 osób - pobyt na tydzień”
A huge, well‑equipped house. The pool is great (large, heated), the outdoor grill has a wood supply, and inside there’s a separate sauna room (sauna, lounge, shower). Every room has its own bathroom! The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, kettle, fridge with freezer (only a single fridge, a double would be great for such a large house). Dining tables, sofas downstairs and upstairs, terrace tables by the grill. From the terrace you get a nice view of the vineyards. Towels and fresh linens are available for everyone, and there are towels and sheets in the sauna too. There’s also an extra cabin by the pool with a toilet and shower. In total we counted 4 bedrooms (2 + 2 + 6 + 4 = 14 people) and 7 bathrooms (5 in the house, 1 in the basement by the sauna, 1 in the pool cabin) – you can comfortably host an entire football squad! The house size is impressive. It’s in a quiet area, no neighbours, silence and privacy, you can even walk barefoot :) Wi‑Fi works well (though it dropped on the terrace). The photos generally match reality and show the house’s appearance. The staff were pleasant (the owner emailed in English; the on‑site caretaker spoke Hungarian), helpful and patient – the caretaker arrived when we had a key problem, and the owner patiently answered questions about the deposit transfer (payment is outside the booking, by bank transfer) and the check‑in process (via app, you need to provide ID details). The only real downside was cleanliness, mainly in the bathrooms: drains were partially clogged and you could see hair in them. It might have been a one‑off slip and the caretaker didn’t have time to clean after the previous guests. The linens and towels were very clean, and the floors were fine. On the other hand, a shower or sink completely clogging would require more than a few days of stay by some guests; they weren’t cleaned or had drain cleaners used – it looked weak. You also saw cigarette butts under the lounge chairs and in the trash bin by the pool – from the last stay. In the dining room, when children scattered food crumbs on the floor, ants appeared after a few hours. The house has typical minor issues common in Hungary: some shower functions don’t work, contacts fall off the wall and hang on cables, bathroom tiles are glued with tape, the kettle needs to be turned before it works, etc. You can get used to it and it doesn’t really bother. Remember that the remote location means you have to drive 20‑30 minutes on very bad local roads to reach larger cities and tourist spots (Balaton, Keszthely, Heviz, Sümégy, etc.). Contact with the on‑site caretaker is only in Hungarian, e.g., via a phone translator.
